Beauchamp Sinfonietta is a “by invitation” chamber orchestra based in Leamington Spa. Players are drawn from throughout Warwickshire and beyond. Many players are music teachers, others follow a range of careers and enjoy performing music as a recreational activity.
Concerts take place in October, January and April with Saturday afternoon performances in Southam. Each programme is repeated as a Sunday afternoon concert the following day in Leamington Town Hall. (See “Concerts” for this season’s concert details). Teas with cakes are available at the interval on both occasions.
The Musical Director is Nic Fallowfield and the regular Guest Conductor is Roger Coull. Professional soloists are engaged to perform concertos with the orchestra. (See “Conductors” and “Soloists” for further details).
The orchestra also accompanies choral societies and plays for festival and “Prom” concerts. For booking information see “Book Us”.
